Sharmistha is an experienced educational leader with over three decades of experience in international education, spanning academic leadership, school improvement, curriculum development, student wellbeing, career guidance, and strategic planning. As a founding senior leader of a leading international school in Dubai, she has played a key role in establishing and growing a successful learning community, developing systems that support student achievement, future readiness, and holistic development.

Her leadership experience includes overseeing the implementation of internationally recognized curricula across the primary, middle, and senior years, while building structures that prepare students for higher education, careers, and lifelong learning. She has successfully led initiatives focused on teaching and learning, assessment, leadership development, student voice, wellbeing, and organizational growth.
